It is a beautiful day today here in MinnesOta. It has been a challenging summer so far, three young adults all living under our roof, my kiddos I guess they are :-) But this past week my oldest moved out, now my middle boy who will be going to Mankato State moves this Saturday and my daughter who will be up at St Cloud moves Aug 22nd. It has been a summer of Financial Aid, car payments and "what about me" thoughts.

I keep asking my husband what is next? I have no real yearning to stay put in St Franny, MN. Where are you from and tell me what the cost of living is! I want land and water. I work from home off of my computer, my husband is in Residential Maintenance and we have a Handyman Business, we can virtually live anywhere.

Well I am up to my eyeballs in cleaning so I better run, hope to update my blogs on a regular basis soon!

Well tomorrow I turn 43, I am not sure how to feel about 43..? Is this a special age, will this be a turning point year? Well my daughter will be heading off to college in North Dakota, my oldest may go there as well and my middle son is going to Mankato state. So we will have no children at home this year.

When my middle left for Augsburg it was weird at first then I was like, wow, my house is so clean. I know I will be sad for a week or two but will enjoy the neatness that I have been lacking. I do All of the laundry. My 23 year old sons, 18 year old daughter, hubby and I. My son brings his clothes home from college too.

We picked up wood last night to build the chicken coop, free off of Craigslist. I will have enough wood to build the coop and raised beds. My job today is to find the perfect plans.. I am video taping this over the weekend!

Well, off to do dishes and clean before heading out.

Trying to come up with a name for my newest project. My newest blog will be all about the cooking and gardening I am up to my knees in daily. The none stop thinking of chickens and bunnies hopping and clucking in the back yard. Urban Sustainable living. Just this am another salmonella outbreak on pistachios. Growing my own veggies and feeding my livestock will keep me in control. Only problem, I live on a city lot with pesky neighbors.

Names I am thinking about.. Urban wahmdiva to keep my wahmdiva name, city farmer, naked farmer. I used to watch the naked chef on the food network, love the name.

Any suggestions?? It is snowing today, I really wish I would of gotten the leaves and poop bagged up!!! Two dogs make for a messy spring clean up in MinnesOta..

Morning..
Well the weather here in Minnesota is still cold and yucky. Flooding up north as well looks pretty sad, I see an old friend of mine went up to Fargo to help save the animals. I think I would of came with if she asked..

I got my camcorder yesterday so watch for the new videos. I am going to also start another blog that is dedicated to going green. I am learning so much and wish I could live better here in the suburbs. The thought of building the chicken coop and having my neighbors rat me out already gives me a bit of tension. But, I am going to do it anyways.

I can't wait to video tape the dogs and what they do when we walk out the door. Maybe Americas funniest videos?

Well, I am off to play with the camera, cheers!!

My camcorder is on it's way, yea!! This blog will be alive and vibrant! Watch for Wahm Diva cooking, gardening, diy projects too..
Look how cute and small that is. I want to take some classes to on video production :-)

Spring is officially here today and I cannot wait for warm air to start flowing. My seeds are so big and I am slowly running out of room and grow lights. Gloomy today so every light is on.

I picked up more seeds to start, Mid April will be my first Farmers Market and I hope to sell, sell, sell. Keep them coming, first the plants then the fruits.

Well I am off to chat with my oldest about his day.

I am addicted to my garden and the ground is still frozen. I am so excited to get my hands dirty and to be without shoes for the summer! My seedlings are so big.

We have tomatoes, cucumbers, a trillion different peppers, hot peppers, egg plant, soy beans, every kind of squash you can think of, herbs galore!!

By Mid May I am opening my yard to the neighborhood and hopefully reaping what I have sewn!

Today I am transplanting cucumbers. Once I have the video recorder these posts will be all video.

It is going to be 50 degrees today, I hope to make it outside, raking is already on the priority list. Dog poop needs to be raked while it is still cold!

Have a great day, drop me a line!
